[KPOP - SINGLE] G-Dragon to release new track 'Michi GO'

Two weeks ago, YG Entertainment revealed that G-Dragon would be releasing a new track specially for his upcoming worldwide concert. On March 29th, the official release date for said track was revealed through Naver Music and his Facebook Page. Along with the annoucement, a new photo of G-Dragon was also revealed. Wearing a coat with a large hood and lined with faux fur, his brown frizzy hair is seen sticking out. G-Dragon's large and golden accessories also catches the eye. Titled "Michi GO," a play on word for "crazy" and "go," is set to be released on April 1st on Naver's LINE and will be available worldwide. [JROCK - NEWS] SPYAIR sings theme song for Sennyu Tantei Tokage

On March 27, it was revealed that 4-member rock band SPYAIR’s newest song “Niji” will be used as the theme song for the TBS drama “Sennyu Tantei Tokage”, which will begin airing every Thursday at 9PM starting on April 18.

Actor Matsuda Shota stars as a detective in the drama. The drama offers a different flavor of mystery and suspense as it follows a former elite police detective who possesses an overwhelming memory and his assistant as they solve difficult and unresolved cases. The drama is also reflective of human nature as the characters in the drama mature as they struggle to balance “oneself” with “one’s past.”

[KPOP - NEWS] Universal Music blocks Youtube videos

International fans of 4minute were at a loss when they tried watching Volume Up on the official channel of 4minute, only to find it blocked.

Back in 2010, Cube met with representatives from Universal, which is the largest record company in the world. After many discussions, the companies decided that Universal would help Cube debut outside of Korea. It seems like Cube’s artists will officially start selling their albums all over Asia. There are plans to distribute album copies to eight countries in Asia, including Japan, which Korean artists tend to cross over to.

Now that they are under the umbrella of UMG, the videos that was once accessible to everyone has been filtered. What does this mean for Cube fans? Hopefully, the videos will be re-uploaded onto UMG's local channels. If not, there's always DailyMotion or other video sharing sites.

However, Inkigayo's new ranking system does take into account the youtube views. Is this move just by UMG or will it spill over to the other Entertainment companies?
